FAQ – Your questions,
our answers
We have compiled the most important questions for you to help you find your way around as best as possible. For individual requests, you can contact us directly at any time – we are happy to advise you personally.
Can I come to your practice as a patient covered by public health insurance?
Yes. Even though we are a private practice, patients with statutory health insurance are welcome to come to us as self-pay patients. It’s important to know that over 90% of the treatments we offer are also considered IGeL services in a standard practice – meaning services not covered by statutory health insurance. Only a very small portion is reimbursable for specific conditions. Therefore, we offer you an individualized, state-of-the-art form of orthopedics – with a clearly structured treatment plan tailored to your personal goals.
Can the therapies be combined?
Yes – and that’s precisely a crucial advantage. Individual treatments such as radiofrequency therapy, electromagnetic transduction therapy (EMTT), focused shockwave therapy, IHHT (interval hypoxic-hyperoxic therapy), or infusions each have their own effect. However, they only reach their full potential when combined. That’s why we’ve developed signature programs that intelligently combine these methods – to accelerate regeneration, shorten recovery times, and achieve lasting results. This principle has been successfully applied in elite sports for decades and is now benefiting many people outside the professional arena as well.
Why use orthopedics preventively if I have no symptoms?
Our musculoskeletal system – muscles, joints, tendons, and bones – is the supporting pillar of our body. It works for us every day, often pushing itself to its limits, but we usually only notice it when pain arises. However, as in every other medical specialty, degeneration begins early – often as early as our thirties – and initially goes unnoticed.
Prevention in the orthopedic sense means recognizing these processes early and counteracting them. This can be achieved through targeted diagnostics, regenerative procedures, and programs that increase resilience and prevent injuries. Professional athletes have practiced this principle for decades – not because problems already exist, but to prevent them from developing in the first place. We apply precisely this approach to everyday life: regeneration and prevention for everyone who wants to remain mobile and perform at their best in the long term.
Why are laboratory analyses useful in orthopedics?
Orthopedics affects not only joints and muscles, but the entire system. Inflammation, metabolic processes, the immune system, and even psychological factors are interconnected. Therefore, our laboratory analyses consider not only classic values such as vitamin D or minerals, but also micronutrient profiles, pro-inflammatory markers, and heavy metal levels.
This enables us to develop tailored therapies that go far beyond mere symptom relief. Whether it’s infusions, nutritional recommendations, or integration into signature programs, the analysis provides the foundation for precise, individualized treatment that supports your cellular and immunological balance. This results in a holistic approach that combines prevention, regeneration, and performance.
Why administer infusions in an orthopedic practice?
Infusions are a modern, evidence-based complement to traditional orthopedics. They act directly in the bloodstream – more efficiently than tablets or supplements that first have to pass through the digestive tract. In combination with laboratory analyses, we can specifically address deficiencies, support detoxification processes, and accelerate healing. This isn’t just about “more energy,” but about measurable effects: improved cell function, a stronger immune system, and faster regeneration. In our practice, infusions are always part of a clearly defined medical framework – either individually or in conjunction with signature programs.
Can I book a program even if I don't have any acute symptoms?
Yes. Many of our patients use our programs preventively – to stay healthy, productive, and mobile in the long term. An initial consultation is particularly beneficial, during which we conduct a comprehensive analysis to assess your situation and create a personalized program.
Will the costs be covered by private insurance?
As a private medical practice, we bill you directly. Whether and to what extent your private health insurance or supplementary health insurance covers the costs depends on your individual contract. Public health insurance companies do not reimburse most of our services. However, we will inform you transparently about the expected costs before the start of any therapy.
What should you be aware of after therapy?
Regeneration means not only treatment, but also integration: sufficient sleep, light exercise, and good nutrition. Many effects are enhanced when the body receives targeted support after therapy – sometimes less exercise, more rest, and an IV infusion are exactly what’s needed.
